Marie Curie Fund Raising

Recently branch members Brian and Alison Fletcher and Dave Rogers have been out with their Travellers supporting Marie Curie at their fundraising event in Alfreton.

There was a steady flow of people visiting the event throughout the day and the cars certainly attracted plenty of admiring glances. Passers by of all ages were interested in the Travellers and showed kindly their support for the Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal.

Throughout the year the MMOC is making a huge fundraising effort across the entire club to support Marie Curie, with various events taking place across the country, as well as the mammoth marathon which the MMOC charity car is undertaking; John O'Groats to Lands End (and lots of places in between!). Marie Curie is the East Midlands Branches nominated charity, so you'll be sure to see many members and their Moggys out about at fundraising events throughout the year.

Many thanks to everyone who donated to Marie Curie at the event. All of your contributions are valued and so important!
You helped us to raise a grand total of £126.64 for Marie Curie!

Well done to Alison and Brian Fletcher, Dave Rogers and the Marie Curie team for all their hard work.
